It was a rough night shooting for Russell Westbrook on Saturday.
While he recorded his second triple-double of the season with 16 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, he converted on just 6-of-23 from the field and 1-of-12 from three-point range.
After struggling to shoot from the field, Westbrook stayed back after the game to put up some shots at Chesapeake Energy Arena some two hours after the game finished.
Westbrook has struggled to shoot from deep this season. While he isn’t necessarily known to be a knock-down shooter, Westbrook has hit on just 17.6 percent from three-point range this season.
For Westbrook, though, some of his looks have been wide open and others have been questionable. It will take some effort on his part to get better shot attempts and that will be something to watch moving forward.
