Tonight the Chicago Bulls host the Phoenix Suns. This is a game where everyone will closely watch the rookies go against each other.

The Chicago Bulls are 4-13, while the Phoenix Suns are 3-13. This seems like a game that would have little interest for fans, but that’s not the case.

When the schedule for this season came out, this was a game that a lot of people circled because of the two rookies.

Tonight is the battle of the centers.

Chicago Bulls rookie Wendell Carter Jr is going up against the 2018 top pick DeAndre Ayton.

Wendell is averaging 11.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. He has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 12 games.

DeAndre is averaging 16.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

Both players play like they have been in the NBA for several seasons. Both players have a potential of becoming superstars in the league.

DeAndre is ranked third in points per game among the rookies, while Wendell is ranked seventh.

DeAndre is also ranked first in rebounds per game among the rookies, and Wendell is ranked second among the group.

Wendell is actually ranked second in blocks per game among the rookies, while DeAndre isn’t even ranked in the top five in that category. Wendell has recorded at least one block in 16 of the 17 games this season.

This is going to be a great matchup to watch. I’m excited to see if Wendell can hold his own against DeAndre.
