Big man had originally targeted upcoming road trip for return from torn Achilles
DeMarcus Cosuins, a fixture at the end of the Warriors’ bench amid the first quarter of 2018, has a reported target date for his Golden State debut.
The center is looking at returning from his torn Achilles after Christmas, per Logan Murdock of the Bay Area News Group. That target was set on Black Friday amid a meeting with Cousins and the training staff.
Cousins, who took part in a scrimmage with Curry on Saturday, is on track to be re-evaluated on Tuesday. Per Murdock, Cousins has been aiming to play on the upcoming five-game road trip, but the club has opted to slow play the sidelined star in order to let him return at his “peak form.”
