WASHINGTON - Who says women over 50 don't have the moves? The Washington Wizards' newest dance team the Wizdom Dance Team made their debut on Saturday night as the Wizards played against the Pelicans on Saturday.

The awesome and talented ladies took their performance to Fox 5 DC to perform in the Loft -- and they were joined by our very own "Wisdom" -- Wisdom Martin.

Choreographer Derric Whitfield says the 20 performers, 19 women and 1 man were selected from 55 who auditioned. The members have had past careers as dancers and performers on dance troupes and even as Washington Redskins cheerleaders.

Whitfield says group took 5-6 weeks to learn their routine.
The Wizdom dancers will be performing on December 22 during the Holiday Spectacular half-time show.
