Here is a small sampling of what the teams said after the game:
SPURS:
Gregg Popovich:
"Usually when we start out, we are one of those teams that has the corporate knowledge and we start out well, because we know everything that we want to do. We're in the opposite situation now, and there are a lot of other teams that know what they are doing from day one, so it's a little different."
Bryn Forbes:
"It's a long season. There's going to be a lot of games, you know we're just trying to be consistent, trying to get back to where we need to be and be consistent."
LaMarcus Aldridge:
"It was a good win for us. Now we're back in the mix for sure. It felt good to get a win."
PACERS:
Nate McMillan:
"We can't control the ball, can't guard the ball and teams are going to get what they want. We're digging ourselves deep holes to start the game off with."
Darren Collison:
"We've been a little bit inconsistent. Somedays we'll come out aggressive and things work out our way, and some days we look like a totally different team."
Cory Joseph:
"They (Spurs) just controlled the pace tonight and they were able to drop it inside, play the inside-out game, and I think that hurt us."
San Antonio will next face the Bucks today.
