Spurs 108, Bulls 107: What they said after the game

by Jeff Garcia, Spurs Zone

The San Antonio Spurs (10-10) defeated the Chicago Bulls (5-16), 108-107.

DeMar DeRozan (21) and LaMarcus Aldridge (20) led the Spurs in scoring as they each added eight rebounds to their stat sheet.

With the narrow victory, the Spurs have now won the last four meetings with the Bulls.

Here is a small sampling of what the teams had to say following the game:

SPURS

Gregg Popovich:

“There’s always positive and negative after every game and everybody grows at a different rate, so that’s really an impossible question to answer. Early in the season when we’re looking for a lot of growth from a lot of different people."

Bryn Forbes:

"We finally found a way to put it together. They still almost got us, but we’re just happy to get a win.”

BULLS

Fred Hoiberg:

“I thought we did have some really good looks. Zach [LaVine] had a wide-open corner three in that set. Obviously, ‘Archie’ [Ryan Arcidiacono] hit a couple big ones for us to give us a chance."

Justin Holiday:

“I think we did a good job of playing the whole game. Obviously if that shot goes in, we feel different about the situation, especially with the scorers they have and how they run the offense."

Next - Spurs at Timberwolves, 11/28.
