NBA media reacts to the Boston Celtics loss to the Trail Blazers

The Boston Celtics had been winners of four consecutive games prior to their five-game road trip. The Celtics were able to take down two of the NBA's more explosive teams in the Milwaukee Bucks and Oklahoma City Thunder. Even with that type of success, the road trip just seemed to get the better of Boston over the last five games in which they came up with a 1-4 mark despite all five of those contests being within single digits.

The latest loss came on Sunday when the Celtics fell short against the Portland Trail Blazers in a 100-94 loss. The Celtics scored just 37 points in the first half and were anemic from the perimeter at times in the opening half. The team hit just two threes in the opening 24 minutes, but were able to bounce back in the second half. In fact, Boston outscored Portland 57-46 in the second half and rode the hot shooting night of Jayson Tatum. Tatum ended up finishing the game with 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting on the night. Here's how the NBA media reacted to the action on Sunday.
