The Los Angeles Lakers will be at full strength ahead of Saturday’s clash on the road against the Sacramento Kings. After a brief injury scare in practice on Friday, Ball was cleared to play ahead of the Pacific Division clash, per coach Luke Walton.
After the morning shootaround on Saturday, the general consensus was that Ball would be available as he appeared on the court without any wrap on the ankle.
After the shootaround, Walton talked to the media and said that, despite Ball looking good in the shootaround, the team would still wait until prior to the game to make the final decision on Ball’s availability.
Ball has yet to miss a game in the 2018-19 season despite a late start to the preseason due to a knee injury. Last season, Ball battled multiple injuries and played in just 52 games for the Lakers.
This season, with the Lakers battling for a playoff spot and Ball earning his starting spot only after a suspension to Rondo, availability will be paramount for Ball.
