Houston Rockets to sign Danuel House

The Houston Rockets intend to sign Rio Grande Valley Vipers wing Danuel House, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

House, 25, averaged 20.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists per game for the Vipers this season. He has joined the Rockets for their Monday night matchup with the Washington Wizards.

Although House has not stood out as a particularly gifted shooter, he is exceptionally athletic and can provide Houston with much-needed wing depth.

Watch him maneuver past a defender in mid-air for a one-handed Summer League slam earlier this year.

House played in 23 games for the Phoenix Suns in 2017-18, averaging 6.6 points in 17.5 minutes per game.
