With his 36 point performance against the Rockets, Wall eclipsed Wes Unseld as the third leading scorer in Wizards history with his 10,624th point. By the end of the game, he reached 10,650.
Jeff Malone is in reach at second with 11,083 total points scored as a Wizard. Wall needs 433 points to catch him this season — that’s just under seven points per game for the rest of the season, for those of you counting. He won’t catch Elvin Hayes at 15,551 total points anytime soon.
