The Charlotte Hornets dropped the last game of a two game road trip to the Atlanta Hawks, in Atlanta on Sunday night by a score of 124-123.
The win for Atlanta pushed their record to 4-16 on the season, snapping a 10-game losing streak. The defeat was the Charlotte Hornets 8th loss in games decided by five points or less. Now, we look at three players who stood out in Atlanta on Sunday before we return home to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

3. Frank Kaminsky
Frank Kaminsky has been in his bag lately for the Charlotte Hornets. It is easy to see why he is on this list tonight as he made the most of his minutes on the court again, for the third game in a row.
With Willy Hernangomez healthy, dressed and off the injury report, I was excited to see how Head Coach James Borrego would handle the minute distribution between his reserve centers, with all of them healthy on Sunday.
On Sunday, Frank played only 12 minutes (lowest total in last 3 games) while Willy Hernangomez received the DNP-CD treatment. It seems that based of Frank’s play in the two games with Willy inactive, that he was for now, taken Hernangomez’s minutes.
Against the Hawks, Kaminsky scored 11 points on 2-3 shooting, making his only three-point attempt. He added three rebounds and two assists on the night.
Kaminsky, in the last three games is averaging 17.7 minutes a game, scoring 11.3 points, and averaging nearly two assists, to go with 4.7 rebounds. He has showed his ability to get physical in the post, and flashed his well-known ability to shoot from beyond the arc.
I would love to see Frank continue to get minutes and continue to make the most out of them. Similar to how Dwayne Bacon made his way into the rotation, Frank has been capitalizing on his opportunities.
I am looking forward to see how he is used against Milwaukee tonight, and if Willy will get any of minutes back against a long Bucks squad. He has now scored in double-digits in three games in a row.
