Derrick Rose’s 50 point outburst took the sports world by storm Wednesday night. Philadelphia 76ers point guard Markelle Fultz can learn a few things from Rose to help bolster his own play.
It has been a week since Derrick Rose broke out for 50 points in the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 128-125 victory over the Utah Jazz. Rose scored at an electrifying rate, finishing at will inside the paint, and even knocking down four threes. He carried a Jimmy Butler-less T-Wolves to victory in a performance that had the entire sports world ecstatic for D-Rose, knowing his tough NBA career.
As a guy that covers the Philadelphia 76ers, when I watch games I tend to relate everything back to the Sixers in some way. A Sixers guard who scores the majority of his points from inside immediately came to mind: Markelle Fultz.
Here is what Markelle Fultz can learn from Derrick Rose’s 50-point outing.
