Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will make his first start of the season on Saturday against the Nuggets, according to Brett Dawson of The Athletic.
With Terrance Ferguson and Hamidou Diallo both out for the next eight to 12 days with sprained ankles, Thunder head coach Billy Donovan has been forced to make some changes to the lineup.
On Friday night against the Hornets, the Thunder started Dennis Schroder in place of Ferguson but Donovan wanted to make a change on Saturday to have Schroder come off of the bench and will start Luwawu-Cabarrot instead.
The news of the Thunder starting Luwawu-Cabarrot surfaced just before tip-off on Saturday.
Luwawu-Cabarrot is averaging 2.8 points in 11 games this season.
