The Los Angeles Lakers have won six of their past seven games. The one loss came, surprisingly, against the Orlando Magic. The Lakers kicked off a three-game trip through the Eastern Conference last Saturday by taking on the Magic and were beaten soundly by a team that has not made the playoffs since 2012. Thankfully, the Lakers get to play them again only eight days later, and they get to do so on their home floor without a string of big road games in front of them. In other words, the Lakers are primed for revenge this time around.
The Magic won't go away easily, though. They are a young team with a ton of athleticism, and Nikola Vucevic is a bad matchup for the Lakers with his ability to make plays on the perimeter as a big man. The last time the Lakers played against the Magic, they got complacent and lost a game that they easily should have won. This time around, they'll have to take them seriously. These are the players they'll likely start in trying to do so.
