BY THE NUMBERS
A GOOD FIRST STEP
The buzzword in the Celtics' locker room after a rare breezy win Friday night in Atlanta seemed to be "business trip." And the way to make the rest of the trip successful? By sticking to business, says Kyrie Irving. "Just not being complacent, not being satisfied," he said.
ALL RIGHT FOR YOU
Irving's departure from the Cavs was, according to a recent story in The Athletic, all about LeBron James. He wanted a change of scenery so he would no longer have to play alongside James, and he didn't want to be Cavs roster when James departed. LeBron's response? "If that's the case, that's definitely not my problem. I never felt like I didn't want to play with him. The only thing I tried to do is give him whatever I could and more."
SEASON OF GIVING
Quavo of Migos got Irving's shoes and Jaylen Brown's jersey after the Celtics game in Atlanta.
